Background
In 1986, The Futon Campus was formed with an objective to develop completely new range of casual furniture with a raw feel and highly durable, functional furniture.
During the next decade many highly innovative models were developed; since have bee copied by virtually all major outlets such as Ikea etc. to a lower standard. We continue with major innovations, always maintaining the robust, raw feel in solid pine and avoiding 'gloss' touch.... back to basics!
All our products are made in UK employing UK based skilled people and make a conscience effort to promote other UK manufactures.
Not all the materials can be sourced within UK or for that matter Europe; such as timber and cotton. Here our policy is to use base products and introduce the 'making' element within our workshop.
